What Do The Lights On The Hub Mean?

The lights on your hub let you know what's happening with your PEQ system at any time, and they can also help you identify potential problems.

POWER
Off - No power – the hub is off
Green (solid) - The hub is on
Green (flashing) - The hub is on and a firmware update is in progress
a. If light is flashing, please don’t unplug your hub.

 

CONNECTIVITY

a. Pre-Activation:
Red - No connection to your internet (router)
Amber (flashing) - Connected to your internet (router), but hub is not activated to the PEQ servers yet
Amber (solid) - Connected to your internet (router/modem), but hub is not connected to the PEQ server, or activated to the PEQ
Green - Activated and connected to the PEQ servers

b. Post-Activation:
Red - Not connected to the internet
Amber (solid) - Good connection to your router (LAN port) but can’t access internet beyond the router
Green - Connected to the internet

WI-FI

Off - No cameras connected to the hub (assuming the hub is powered and not in the process of turning on)
Green (solid) - Cameras connected to the hub, but not currently being viewed
Green (flashing) - Cameras connected to the hub, and currently being viewed

 

DEVICES

Off – There are no non-camera devices paired to the hub (assuming the hub is powered and not in the process of turning on)
Green (solid) – There are non-camera devices paired and recognized by the hub
Green (flashing) - Looking for non-camera devices to add to the system
Amber – At least one (1) device is reporting trouble
