Trouble Adding a Door/Window Sensor


If you’re having trouble adding your door / window sensor to your PEQ system, please try the following steps:

1. Make sure the door / window sensor is near the hub
a.) We recommend pairing your sensor 1-5 feet away from the hub before you install it.

2. Restart your hub by unplugging the power adapter, waiting a few minutes, then plugging it back in

3. Verify the hub is connected the the internet

4. Try to get the hub as far away from other wireless networking equipment as possible during the pairing process

5. Check to see if your door / window sensor is already paired with your PEQ system

6. If it is paired:
a.) Delete the door / window sensor

b.) Reset your device

c.) Try pairing your device again

d.) Make sure the device has good batteries – the LED should be flashing while pairing. If the battery condition is low or dead, you’ll need to replace the battery.
